Shelby Owens Interiors (SOI) is a full service interior design studio based in Dallas, Texas. Shelby Owens started the firm in September of 2014 while working for Brianna Wright Interiors as lead Project Manager. Shelby balanced having a full time design job for several years while also curating projects on the side to build the firm. In 2018 Shelby shifted her focus full time on the firm and shortly after Pierce Barry joined, as an owner and designer.

 

At Shelby Owens Interiors we believe that good design is based upon creating spaces with personal meaning. Our goal is to interpret what the client wants and needs, all the while taking unique approach to the design process. While Shelby's taste is more of a young traditional, Pierce adds that modern touch that mwith his clean modern taste. 

 

Shelby likes to incorporate old, new, found, and inherited pieces to create a uniquely layered space. Extensive travel, the love of outdoors, and antiques provide inspiration for all of Shelby’s projects. Shelby prides herself on being hands on during every step of the process establishing a strong relationship with each client to create a distinct look for every project.

SOI will work directly with contractors to help select architectural details, finishes, and  produce functional spaces while working with the client to select fabrics, furniture, lighting, and accessories to create a exquisite layered space.
